San Carlos de Bariloche is the most populated Patagonian city in the province of Río Negro, the most visited tourist destination in Patagonia and one of the most visited destinations in Argentina. It receives around one million tourists annually, among which those from countries in Europe and America stand out for their influx. It is located in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, in the southwest of the province of Neuquén, next to the Andes mountain range, on the southern shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi.
Its 220 km2 has a great diversity of soils, climates and natural environments. From forested and mountainous areas to flat areas on the shores of the lake or rivers that flow along its entire length. When investing in the city, it is very important to know its diversity since each area has completely different construction conditions that mostly vary according to geographical factors.
(It is the area closest to the Andes mountain range, mountainous, with forests and streams)
Its neighborhoods are: Casa de Piedra (Ruca-Cura), Villa Don Orione, Las Vertientes, Los Maitenes, Villa Los Coihues, Villa Lago Gutiérrez, Villa Nahuel Malal, Pinar del Lago, Pinar de Festa, San Pedro Peninsula, Cerro Chico, Melipal, La Cascada, Los Cipresales, Carihue, El Faldeo, Los Retamos, El Mirador, Virgen Misionera, Peumayén, Villa Catedral, Rancho Grande, San Ignacio del Cerro, Lago Moreno Park, Jockey Club, Gastronomic (August 2), Covibar.
(This is the area located in the areas surrounding the City's Civic Center, mainly paved and with different slopes depending on the area)
Its neighborhoods are: Belgrano, Belgrano Sudeste, Botanical Garden, December 10, National Parks, Las Margaritas, Ñireco, Las Quintas (where the central headquarters of the Volunteer Firefighters is located).
(The southern area is the highest in the city, located between hills)

It is bordered to the north by Brown Avenue, to the east by Esandi Avenue, to the south by Circunvalación Avenue, to the southwest by the base of Cerro Carbón and to the west by Valle Azul.
(A rapidly growing area with access to the Gutierrez and Moreno Lakes, streams and a variety of natural spaces)
Its neighborhoods are: Villa Lago Gutierrez, Reina Mora, Entre Cerros, Valle Azul, Lomas del Cauquén, Arelauquen Golf & Country Club, Villa los Coihues
(A rapidly growing area with flat land, close to Lake Nahuel Huapi, the airport and the growing city of Dina Huapi)
Its neighborhoods are: Las Victorias, East Village, La Colina, San Francisco, Villaverde, El Condor, Altos del Condor, Lomas de Monteverde and Las Chacras.
Due to its proximity to the city (only 15km) many people believe that the Municipality of Dina Huapi is a neighborhood of the city, but the truth is that although there is an active current of life between both places within the same province: Río Negro, Dina Huapi is a town in the Pilcaniyeu department independent of Bariloche and is located on the southeastern shore of the eastern end of Lake Nahuel Huapi immediately south of the source of the Limay River, the natural boundary between Río Negro and the province of Neuquén.
